  • Garnet Application
  • FAFSA- Fill out the Financial Aid application at fafsa.ed.gov ( Must be filled out to determine financial aid eligibility for any and all scholarships and grants)
  •  PT HEAPs application 
  •  $200 non-refundable deposit must be paid no later than two weeks prior to start date (IMPORTANT: Deposit holds seat on a first paid/first reserved basis and pays the $75 application fee and $125 book fee. Students wishing to GUARANTEE a seat in the class should pay the deposit when sending in application.)
  • Copy of High School Diploma or GED and copy of Photo I.D.
  • Health insurance card or signature on liability waiver
  • Entrance Exam – TABE Test (Reading and Math). Test will be November 17. It will be given at 10:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Please call to register.
  • Agreement to submit to a drug screen and criminal background check before clinical experience

Class Starts:  January 5, 2022, 5:30 p.m. This will be your orientation. 

Class meets:  Two nights a week, Mondays – Wednesdays for approximately 9 weeks, 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and 3 weeks clinical experience M-F 8 hrs/day; daytime hours are required for the clinical experience.           174 hours/12 weeks total including clinical hours.

Entrance Exam:  Photo ID required to be admitted into test, receipt from exam payment, #2 pencils and a calculator.

Special Note: Admission to the Phlebotomy Technician class is based on test results as compared to other candidate’s courses. Class size is limited!! There will be an orientation on the first night of class to clarify requirements of the course.  Clinical experience hours will be set at that time, but students should plan for last 3 weeks/M-F 8hrs/day. 

Financial Aid: Available to those who qualify.  FASFA must be completed for 2021-2022 school year at FAFSA.gov to be eligible for financial aid. Financial aid available will not cover all program costs. (Garnet School ID for FAFSA: 015675)

The Financial Aid Specialist is available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the main office.  Part-time financial aid funding is allotted in the fall and spring, divided among all scheduled programs and all eligible students on a first come, first served basis.
