Garnet Career Center, in collaboration with Mountain State ESC.,  offers a TEAS Prep class for prospective nursing students. To access the class schedule, TEAS test dates, please click the link below.

Garnet does not accept remote proctored test scores. Garnet will only accept scores from tests taken at Garnet or with an in-person proctor at an approved testing site. 

The attached sheet lists steps to register for an ATI Teas test account , and the required items to bring on the test date.

(Registration is not complete without contacting the Garnet Main office and paying the required test fee.)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION NEEDED TO TAKE THE ATI-TEAS
LPN NURSING ENTRANCE TEST
The mission of Garnet Career Center is to provide adult learners with 21st century educational opportunities necessary to attain their chosen professional and career goals.

It is necessary for all individuals preparing to take the ATI-TEAS Exam to create an account online by going to the ATI website.

Please follow these steps:

1. Go to atitesting.com.
2. Click on “Create an Account” and follow the screen prompts.
3. You will need a valid email address to create an account.
4. Complete the seven pages
5. On the “Institution Information Page” Type in Garnet Career Center, Check on Non-Degree Seeking. The Expected Graduation Date can be: 06/10/2022. You can leave the other boxes blank.
6. You will need your ATI user name and password to sign onto the computer to take the exam at Garnet.  When you submit your information for creating an account, a new page will open.  Your ATI ID will be on that page or you may have to go to “My Account” then “My Profile” to get your ID.  If you have access to a printer, you can print the needed information or write your user name and password on a piece of paper and bring it with you to the test.
7. You must bring this information with you to the testing location. You do not have to register for a test in Charleston in order to take the exam, you will only need to “CREATE an ACCOUNT” 
8. A photo ID is required for admission to all testing sessions, including re-test sessions.

Special Notes:
Please create account only once.
The ID number is a requirement in order for your test to be scored.

THE NON-REFUNDABLE TEST FEE of $70.00 IS DUE WITH THE APPLICATION PRIOR TO THE TEST DATE.  Fees may be paid by cash, check (made payable to Garnet Career Center), money order or online by credit card only after speaking with financial aid secretary.
